Smoke free 4.5 years

I came across this forum over 4 years ago and it helped me quit smoking. This forum was a great support.
I urge anyone who is in the process of quitting smoking, do not give up.
I'm so glad I haven't had a single cigarette since quitting. I don't crave for a cigarette either.
I wish you well in your journey of being set free of this addiction.

Well done!
I’m about to start my journey and it’s hectic and I feel a sense of dread so really amazing stories like yours keeps me determined to start my journey.

Yes, well done.
I am using the 14 mg patch to quit. I’ve been off cigarettes completely for 2 weeks and I consider myself quit though I still have a little bit of nicotine in my system. I tried going cold turkey before but it didn’t work for me long term. That’s not to say it’s a very successful way for a lot of people. Soon I will be totally free of nicotine altogether and I’m looking forward to that.
It’s fantastic that you have racked up 4.5 years.
I’ve only done the 2 weeks but I’m feeling great and I won’t look back now.

Congratulations haydee on 4.5 years on quitting wow what a milestone I’ve gone 35 days now and plan on staying quit it really helps reading stories like yours thanks for sharing

Thanks for your comments. You'll feel a lot better when you quit. I regularly got headaches when I smoked. I had no idea at the time it was because of smoking. Now I'm smoke free, no headaches.
It makes a huge difference to your physical health being free from cigarettes.
