You have to really want to quit smoking to quit smoking. I have been smoking since I was a teen and I am 27 now, I knew it was time to put the light out when I realised how bad smoking was affecting my health. I am not a heavy smoker, I smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day, but even 1 is a bad thing. Today 07/11/2022, is going on to my 2nd day of quitting and so far so good. I have been having hot flushes which idk if it is all part of the quitting process, other than that, everything is going smoothly. I have tried quitting so many times before but I feel like this time is real. Yesterday I literally had nothing to distract me so I am surprised I got though the first day. I am happy to let go of this very bad habit and once you realise how truly disgusting it is, you will never want to touch a cigarette again. I am truly blessed to have been given the strength get through this and I hope many people see the truth and let go of this disgusting EXPENSIVE habit for good.

Well guys this is the very beginning of my journey. Today is my start date, woke at 8.30am, it's now 1pm and feeling ok. I'm 49, turning 50 soon. I've been smoking since I was 22. It's time to kick this habit that causes more headaches than anything. Nothing good ever come from this habit and with the rising cost, I can no longer justify smoking.

As Angelface pointed out, we justified our choice to smoke. In other words we kept clutching at excuses so as not to go through the quitting process. We feared it. Smoking has never given any of us anything good. It just caused more destruction as the years went by.

Quitting is much easier when we really do WANT to quit. Find the WANT or find the EXCUSE. You can try to justify it to others, but can you really even justify it to yourself?

Change how you look at smoking. It is a mind game.

Change your mind and Change your life!

Do you know of anyone who wishes that they smoked?:
