I originally stopped smoking in 2017 but after illness and death if my father I found myself smoking again

December I decided that I definitely will stop smoking for good .

And haven't light a single cigarette cince than .

Being married to a non smoker definetly helps a lot .

Yes, as your wife is not threatened by your decision to change, she will of course be behind you 100%. You are well on your way to beating this addiction. I hope that you join us from time to time and remember that smoking does not relieve any stress, it is the cause of many in fact.

I truly never even thought of smoking when Dad passed a while back. I am sure he would have been appalled to think that he was the cause of a relapse. Your Dad would be relieved to know that you are back on track and following through. Always remember NOPE and stand firm behind your decision. I assure you that you will never regret it.

Congratulations on over 3 years quit. I thought it was just a couple of months which is still a great milestone and instills confidence for those just starting out. Seeing others succeed is what gave me the courage to at least try, so thanks for writing and instilling hope and self belief in others.
