Confidence

I’m almost 7 weeks quit and I’m feeling much better, especially those first few weeks which were really hard. I’m starting a diet now to lose weight and get fit again as well. My smokers cough is nearly gone. Ive got a bad back so now I can afford to get that fixed up, ive had it for o year. I now feel it’s one of the best decisions ever.

Quitting smoking is achievable and definitely one of the best decisions of our lives.
Keep on thinking Positive, Cuba and keep on inspiring others!

I felt no option but to smoke. People talked about freedom. I didn't understand it.When I began to have smoke free days I began to see that I had choices. I no longer have a wheeze on my chest. That took over 2.5 years to go. It is still important for me to have little rituals like deep breathing. 7 weeks is astounding. When I was quitting I remember doing nothing but maths puzzles for three weeks. Then I took up colouring-in. I couldn't go outside. I was worried I would get a craving if I went into my smoking area. I am challenging myself now. I have been gardening. I am trying to live in the day.

Awesome work Cuba!! Congratulations on 7 weeks of freedom. Take a bow! You got this!
