Hello dstfry123 and congratulations to nearly 2 years! Way to go! I read both your posts today and your point about positive affirmations is a good reminder to me.

A few months back I learned a little about positive affirmations and read the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and read more authors that practiced positive affirmations. I even did vision boards (3 of them) with the vision of "I choose not to smoke and I breath only fresh air".

You have first hand knowledge that it works for you so I might go back and revisit that subject. My journey, and life in general, does have some downs and sometimes it's not so easy to get motivated so I think I will give positive affirmations another try.

When I was just learning about it, I was trying to influence my subconscious mind to access new beliefs about smoking. I know it was not easy for me to practice, but maybe I should be more serious about that subject and give it another go. Thank you so much for your post. It gave me a re-awakening about a subject we all should have in our lives. Congratulations again.
