Welcome Chellie, you've got it in oneππ I admire you for having the strength to go cold turkey, I believe its the highest success rate and we all face the nicotine withdrawel at some stage anyway.
Keep those eyes firmly on the prize of freedom Chellie and you will be fine. We are all cheering you onππͺππ

You've got this. You have made up your mind and you are like a dog on a bone.
You will bury this addiction and bad habit.

Hello Chellie and welcome! I know what you mean. I also felt I could never quit and I also thought the only way I could quit was to be locked up or in the hospital for days. However, that was not the case and I am almost 8 weeks of not smoking. Like you, I smoked for decades. I made several half-hearted attempts to quit before I finally got serious. Finally got the right mindset.
Smoking is a killer. It takes your life away and does NOTHING for you at all. It causes stress, it doesn't take stress away! You came to the right community. Read, read and read some more! You will learn and be inspired. When I am on shaky ground (so to speak) even now, I plow through lots of posts and it really does amazing things to help my mindset get back on track. You can do this, and you obviously have a strong attitude about kicking the nicotine addiction out of your life. FOR GOOD! YOU GOT THIS!!!! Stay strong!!!

Hi everyone thanks so much π for your messages π it really makes me smile π
