Day 56 = 8 weeks

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 25 Jul 2021

Happy Sunday everyone. I am 51 years old and have never gone this long without a cigarette since I was probably 11 or 12 years old. I have tried to stop smoking many times over the years. It has taken me till the age of 51 years old to kick this stinking, life sucking, financial breaking, spirit crushing addiction to the kerb. What a hold it use to have on me. If you are out there still battling with the addiction please believe that you too can kick this addiction. There is nothing special about me I was just a regular everyday drug addict and nicotine was the drug. I never really thought I could truly get free from the grip/hold it had on me however I can now see that attempt after attempt to quit over the many years finally got to the place of being truly free from this addiction. My unsuccessful attempts did turn out to have seeds of success in them. So if you have tried and tried and tried to quit I'm here at the other end to let you know there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep coming and NEVER give up on giving up smoking. Keep coming my friends and THANKYOU so much to all of those who got to the light before me and stopped, turned around and called out for me to come join them😊🙏❤️
