15 days smoke free

This is my 15th day smoke free. I’ve had a few health issues and just want to be healthy. First 3 days were depressing and weird cause I usually love my cigarette with my tea in the morning and after meals. But I stopped tea for a while so I won’t get tempted. Cold turkey is the way I’ve chosen to go. As each day passes it gets a little easier. It’s just getting out of that routine I was used to. When I feel like I miss the cigarette’s I just think of how fresh my mouth feels and that deters me.

This has been a tremendous start. I too, had kept small achievements as anchoring post for staying quit. one of them was the way my mouth tasted after smoking. I got my freshness back , and each day i realized how my taste and smell got back. these small achievements helped me in staying on track. Good luck to you. I am sure soon you will be free.

Keep on 👍 it does get easier and better. Think positive and you will do this.
