Quit for good

Well, 9 weeks now.. really past it, smoking that is. Looking for ways to lose a little weight that I gained along the way.

Hi Poco, so pleased you are on your way to quitting for good. NOPE (not one puff ever). I left the weight part alone for a while until I got my head around the "forever" of no smoking. I am now once again starting on a diet, low carb but it doesnt want to budge, at least I am not putting weight on.
Congratulations on 9 weeks smoke free.

You have brought about wonderful change to your life and way of thinking. You started with a DESIRE and making better choices. That alone is probably enough to keep your weight going in the right direction. Eat nutritious , filling foods and the rest might just take care of it' self. Your body will stop craving junk food and empty calories.
