Firstly - thank you all for posting your stories! I love this site from far away in the UK! The thing I love that most about this site is being able to search past stories of others who were at my ‘days’ once. e.g. 200 days and then click on their name to see they are 2,3,4,5 years quit and that they don’t even think about cigs anymore. This gives me a lot of hope! I still find it difficult when I have done housework not rewarding myself with one or when I have a drink ( fortunately I rarely drink alcohol). I think as well being single it is hard to shake the association more of them being your friend... it’s so messed up on your psychology ...211 days now...well done ll and happy new year 🥳

It seems I am missing an 8 ....for....888,,,,it is only 788 days, but then who is counting? We are free of smoking when we are happy that nicotine no longer controls us. After all , It is our minds, our thoughts, from that point on that say Hurray or perhaps now what?

Being decisive about what you want makes it easier. I knew I was free and no looking back. I had the desire to quit first and foremost! When I joined a group online and saw others quitting, I KNEW there was hope for even little ol' me.! I would never have thought that I would help so many others find their way to success too! An one success leads to another.....and another...and sometimes even to our loved ones!

You can quit smoking. We know you can too. Read on and see that we are no different than you. Now it is your turn to believe in you. You seem to be doing great! Why not?
