Dont let a slip hold you back

Hello All
I am on day 27 with a slip on day 19. I love popping into this each morning it is one of the things that helps me to stay quit. I love reading your stories they help keep me on track. Putting posts up myself also helps me to stay quit. I started smoking around the age of 11 and am now 50 years old. I was a tobacco smoker so in numbers that use to be about 50-75grams tobacco a week for me which is any where from 1-1and a half large pouches a week. I am so enjoying breakfast I never ate breakfast when I was a smoker breakfast use to be coffee and cigarettes. I gave up coffee with the cigarettes and fortunately I ceased drinking alcohol 2 and a bit years ago. I use to go to sleep at night looking forward to my coffee and cigarettes in the morning, last night was the first night my head said it was looking forward to breaky in the morning. Yes I think that is probably odd to go off to sleep looking forward to either of those things first thing in the morning but I like to have something to look forward to waking up to. Have a magical smoke free day everyone

Well done on 27 days
Before you no it it will be weeks and months smoke free but for now focus on the day you are in and be joyful to be smoke free
It's a great feeling to smell and taste again
All the best

Amazing how far you have come in just a few days. Aren't you glad you picked yourself up after a slip up and continued on this wonderful journey and transformation. There are many things to look forward to in life other than cigarettes. Kudos to you.

You are on the right track now jessfree we all need something to look forward to and this is our best ali , you will find you will raise your spirits whenever you think of something no matter how small to look forward to. NOPE (not one puff ever)

Thank you for the reminder Gemma23 on focusing on the day Im in. And yes Happiness I am sooo grateful I was able to pick myself up after my slip and carry on without the smokes. I have never been able to do that before and that slip has reinforced how dangerous a slip can be. I dont plan on doing that again
