Hi every1 I really want to kick the habit of smoking I'm now day 8 and using the patch has anyone be using the patch?

Good for you deciding to make a change for the better. While nrt's can help ease you along , you also need the mindset, the acceptance of never smoking again. When you welcome the change rather than fear it, the journey is much easier and sustainable. Stick with this forum while you go through the process and in the future. Remember N>O>P>E Not One Puff Ever!

Thanks guys I am determine to get the habit this time I have so many times before try to quit and failed but not this time i got a health scare and I think that's what's done it for me this time

Welcome Gemma23. You are not alone in your journey, as Happiness has suggested it is the mindset that needs to be re wired, along with other NRT aids, you need to read more and decide where you are in relationship to nicotine or cigarettes, work on your strategies daily, and keep NOPE on your list (Not one puff ever). Others will be helping you if you need to return anytime.
