Im 19 days smoke free..my urge to smoke is as strong as urge not to smoke😭😭

I dont know why but it seems tougher then first two weeks, but somehow I keep my focus because when I dont feel cravings it feels so good,I often catch myself thinking wow its been long since I even had the thought about cigarette yet alone the urge to smoke..but the momet when the craving hits is almost impossible to stay focused😭

The brain fog for me lasted about 3 weeks, just keep remaining vigilant and true to yourself and keep your reasons for quitting in front of you at these times. Well done for 19 days Day 20 tomorrow

Stay smoke free Cath. Remain committed and think of an urge as only a brief thought of a memory from your past.

I refused to acknowledge the the word cravings. Because its impossible to crave something that I dont want.

Sure, sometimes an urge may pop up at trigger times, and I call them reminders to N.O.P.E (NOT ONE PUFF EVER)

We are going so well.

Stay focused and committed.

I will add that once i accepted my last cigarette, that I'd had my last draw and last Puff, It was alot easier to come to terms with any uncomfortable memory or thought of ever smoking, because my mind was made up to never smoke again. Once you make that choice , there's no debate or doubt in your mind, and with that mindset, there should be no temptation or craving.

It's a mind game

Have you read Allan Csrrs free e-book? When you understand nicotine and what it never did for you, you will no longer desire to smoke, and quitting is made much easier. It really is just a decision that you make and stick to. Its as easy as clicking on my name anywhere and finding the story and link to read this wonderful book that has helped so many.
