JD Going On 11th Day

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 5 Feb 2020

Going great everyone, the nicotine cravings have eased & know I can go on further to be smoke free forever. That is alot for me to say, I think I'm getting wiser as I'm getting older. I've never really tried to give up smoking totally, I have tried several times over the years, never felt this

confident. I drove trucks for many years, where the boredom made you smoke more. Now these days I can kickback & realise how much smoking, was just a bad habit. I enjoy reading the forum, where you give me more reason to enjoy my life even better.

Thankyou JD x

Way to go JD you are doing great. That's the way just keep getting through each day and you are right, that is the secret to finding the quit so much easier, realising it is just that a silly bad habit that steals from you. Relish each and every day of your new found freedom, I know I am. Every time I go through the self serve checkout at the supermarket I stare at the groceries and think wow these are like bonus groceries as before I could of spent that amount on a packet. Here in Australia the prices have rocketed so it's a massive relief to not have to hand cover that money anymore to slowly poison myself. Just need to remember it's mind over matter over matter and I've decided smokes just simply don't know matter any more. Keep up the great work mate😊
