334 days cigarette and nicotine free

Hi Friends,
Just checking in. 334 days of being a non-smoker. I'm so happy for myself. I should do something to celebrate my one year milestone in November. A spa day? A weekend getaway? What did you do to celebrate your first year?

You are doing great Kennie Whoohoo, almost a year! Personally, i found the journey easier than most, and my return to health and money saved were my rewards. For some, they are important to keeping their promise to themselves. I also decided to retire once i didn't have the expense of smoking, so I guess if i slip I will be going back to work! Whether it is a luxury item, a trip or just seeing the pride in a loved ones eyes or the feeling of your own satisfaction and sense of accomplishment, we are deserving of those rewards. My one year is approaching quickly, I will give it some thought and let you know.

Hi Kennie. So pleased for your success and perseverance. Can I say, sometimes rewards are intrinsic and there is no need to actually spend cash. Can you think of a way of celebrating with those who have stood by you on the way? Or just blow your own trumpet. And enjoy every number right up to 365. Enjoy each of the next 31 days and then thereafter. What about day 400. Now there is another interesting number. In other words, every day is a reason to celebrate. Wake up every day knowing you are smoke free. What better reward is there? NONE!

I would spend the whole day celebrating, lunch out, with a movie, and/or a dinner and a show, how about a show which you could never afford or felt was a waste of money. Anyway one day away from your normal schedule give yourself an overnight stay, the world is yours on that day. Whatever you choose, you deserve congratulations then come back and let us celebrate with you.
