Hi Collins101. You will be pleased to hear that my borderline Copd plus another three years at a pack a day was not detected by my new Doctor after 6 months quit. It is truly amazing how our health can improve drastically once given a fair shake.

Congratulations on choosing a healthier and longer life . Read and learn about nicotine addiction and you, and how retraining our way of thinking is instrumental in making necessary adjustments in our lifestyle.

You can do this. Envision it. Go for it!

Thanks, I have been on two different puffers for a few weeks I have to go for a ct scan of chest as my condition is not getting any better with the puffers. Anyway have a great day

I think others with more serious copd have found a great difference in their breathing even after just a few days of quitting smoking. I trust you will have relief too and that your scans go well. I was offered a puffer, but refused it as i viewed it as a tool to enable me to continue on the wrong path. I did for three more years, but also watched my smoking/drinking combo which was prone to set it off. Scared the crap out of me when doing the bathroom run in the middle of the night and crawling into bed winded after a few steps.

Time to listen to our bodies and give respect!

Why would you refuse a puffer. I am sorry my COPD is not serious enough for you hope I don't go on your path

I was referring to my copd being borderline and not as serious as yours and others. I am sorry i was misunderstood. Even those with more advanced copd (like yours) have better breathing in a short time. Again, my apologies for not being clear.
