Just stay focused

I joined today. 60 days not smoking. I try so hard to just focus on 1 day at a time. Most days not so good. Any one else having this trouble ? I did have to go to the Dr yesterday to get medication to help with my aniexty. It did get the better of me. Will I make it theough this ?

Hello and welcome Queenbee. Thinking positive makes the journey easier and the process sustainable. Nothing will be gained by thinking in the negative. Learn what nicotine has done to you, know that it is the enemy and not worth looking back . Let your mind make up the decision as one instead of fighting each other and making things more difficult. There are a multitude of reasons to quit and none to remain a smoker. Be grateful and relish the fact that you are free of it.
You have successfully gone without 1800 cigarettes clogging your lungs and vitals. Think of it it in those terms if "time" makes you feel uncomfortable. Celebrate and believe that one day soon you will not crave what was so evil in your life.

Welcome Queenbee59 hey you are doing amazingly well. 60 days done is an awesome start, yes one day at a time is the best way. I just want to let you know that not everyone quits with ease, I struggled pretty bad for about 3 months. Try some guided relaxation meditation, these are easily accessible on YouTube. Yoga helps with anxiety as well. You will get passed the hard times just h asng in there take long slow deep breaths when you need to centre yourself and walking is another good distraction. You will make it through Queenbee59 all you need to succeed is to hate those putrid little cancer sticks for all they have robbed from you. They're not your friend, oh the justification we tell ourselves over the years to feed the habit ie; we like it, it's always there for me and it relaxes us. These are all in fact wrong, stand strong and just keep on the right path just one day at a time, you've got this😊
