Need some help with staying off the smokes. I have been smoke free for 15 days (woohoo). In the beginning I was finding it ok to still function but now 15 days on I’m starting to find it harder. Any tips out there to keep me off the smokes. I am doing cold turkey

I found an interactive web site that other quitter used helped me, so many stories, and positive comments. Here is it address

Hi Din. Stop counting the days and just tell yourself you are a non-smoke. Find things to fill in the gaps and research all you can about nicotine and you. Read posts and get ideas that may help you in areas. Anyone can quit with the right attitude and desire. Think positive and things will get easier.

Hi Din,
I smoked for 42 years and gave up cold turkey when I was told I had emphysema back in sep 18. Keep yourself active and busy, walk or take up sport, the main thing is keep your mind distracted during the intense periods you may have. It can be done, but you have to have the right mindset and desire to quit, think also at the health benefits and the money you save. Tomorrow I see a cardiologist as I have blockages in my heart arteries, can only assume smoking had a lot to do with this condition as well. All the best with your journey, stick with it, the benefits are enormous.
