Pay rise
We may at times ask ourselves how to ask the boss for a pay rise. May or may not happen. Would $125 000 you save yourself as a smoker who has quit make a difference? This is a rough estimate of what may be saved in the next 10 years. OK, so that brand new Lamborghini goes up a little... You may also have a few more years of living to enjoy your splurge. As you age it may be a better look than an extreme makeover by plastic surgery. Let's hope we are in it for the long haul and don't lose sight of the goal posts. I must say I am enjoying my $1000 per month "pay rise". Would like to hear from many more who have seen the light. Nothing saddens me more than those who have extinguished the desire to STOP smoking.
A very nice raise for yourself Lia. In Canada a pack a day is about $12 for 25 cigs. What do you get in Australia. Some figures of savings that I see blow my mind. Even though i pay about half because of the Brand in a Bag from a reservation it is still enough to make a difference in my retirement plans. Not only do i save the cost now, but all down the road as well. Freedom from the cigarette is a great feeling. Having a choice to retire earlier is very very nice as well.
The best decision anyone cold make for not only themselves, their families, and their futures.

Hi Lia. Nice to hear you are enjoying life. I gained weight but haven’t looked back. I’ve no intentions of ever smoking again. Love to know how others in “our struggle” are faring.
