31 Days Cigarette Free

So it's been a month already since I quit smoking. The time has flown by really. I remember posting here when I was 2 days quit. Thanks to everyone here for their support :)

All in all it's getting easier. But as I've said in other posts, sometimes I still feel that urge to have a cigarette. However I resist so all good. But relating to how others feel, it gets annoying at times.

It takes a long time to overcome something as addictive as nicotine. Now that I've been through something like this, I would never want to go through this experience again of starting smoking and then quitting and feeling all those awful withdrawal symptoms. No thanks! It's not worth it.

Each week I reward myself with a bunch of flowers. Why not :) You have to encourage yourself to keep going in my opinion. It's positive reinforcement.

I still steer clear of anyone smoking at this stage where possible. As it's still early days quit for me. Everyone's probably different though.
