Life is better!

I’m 8 days in now! i Always said I’d quit but truthfully I enjoyed smoking. I have 2 2 year olds and a a baby! That was my excape. Going outside to have a cig! One night I was on Facebook and came across an article about smoking I clicked on it. ‘Smoking does sound good right about now’ I thought that. I started reading it and the only thing I remember from this stupid article was “why do you want to smoke?” Well my answer to get away from the stress of the kids..... to get away from my kids. I looked a my cig and literally was disgusted I thought that. I put it out destroyed it and threw it away. I put the pack with what was left on the microwave for my fiancé he has no clue lol I told myself all the wrongs hat really smacked me in the face over this. I didn’t quit when I was pregnant I did slow down from a pack to 2 a day but that wasn’t enough. I get stressed and leave the kids inside watching tv eating or whatever to watch them through my sliding glass door because I just can’t handle it.
How I did deal with this madness?
In the morning instead of making breakfast and coffee then sneaking out, I make my 7months old a bottle let the kids come crawl in bed with me and we just play or hangout for an hour then my morning craving is dealt with. Oh god another fight we have 2 of he same toy!!! I breathe take a Saint John’s wort and it helps. I know it shows no evidence in helping whatever but I’ve had a difficult time quitting because it gives me anxiety. That helps with anxiety!!!
Got me through day one and day 2 was about the same. Day three I had a minor headache.. I’m just so tired with 3 kids AHHH WHY DONT THEY SLEEP MORE!! But I’m a mom and what comes with hat is being tired! I can handle it! Take napes when daddy is home 😊 he was also very supportive in all of this didn’t smoke around me he’d always n”need something from the store” which is amazing! You need a support! My brother quit probably 6 months before me and he also was there to help and coach! If I’d say “I need a cig “ around him he’d tell me to go do something productive. I eat a lot! I’m not at all guilty about that lol I love food and more money for midnight snacks?? Heck yea! Day 4-today was about the same sleep eat kids repeat lol I do enjoy getting a little more time with the kids! They deserve all of my time!
I realized it’s not as hard as I thought! Just eat or clean and the cravings will go away! Even tho i get cravings after I eat I realized don’t stuff myself but I can have that extra piece of chocolate I earned if!

I agree that smoking increases anxiety I would smoke to stop and anxiety attack just to keep it going or make it worse I realized that recently in the past year.quitting is the hardest thing in the world we are addicted like an addict,but the things are killing us and the government is OK with that long as they get a cut of the profit
