Here I am, almost 5 years later and I am still off them. Has been a roller coaster ride, but so glad I have stuck with my decision to give them away. I have saved almost $50k and I can see it. New Suzuki DL1000 I bought in 2016, caravan in 2017 and a few months ago I upgraded my car and bought a 2012 Toyota Hilux duel cab ute. I did this with the money I saved getting off the smokes! Feel like I am very lucky because I was a heavy smoker for many years and I feel great now. I hope my story helps others to quit and if you do, make sure you reward yourself :-)

Hi Bradj62. You are indeed a trailblazer. Always good to know of those who remain free from the addiction to nicotine. Just passed 3 years and it is good to know that one must be vigilant and remember that the habit is just one puff away... Although there are no cravings for many of us still visiting this site, we do like to be reminded that the road ahead is still a long one and how rewarding it can be. You are obviously living life 'to da max'.

Hi Brad & Lia, I absolutely love the fact that you both come back to share your success after such a long time. It really does give encouragement - this site needs people like you to continue coming back now & then. I have seen many comments from both of you over the past few years and just have to say congratulations and thank you for keeping up such wonderful support.

Must be great to be able to buy all those nice things without worrying about whether youve got enough money for your next pack of smokes 5 years free from them is fantastic and you have really proven to yourself how strong you are as most of us think 1 pack won't hurt. Good on you.
