Its now 480 days since I smoked my last cigarette and said good by to Mr. Nic o teen... What a journey. My little boy just turned 6 month and I started working again. Rarely get the urge to smoke, not even after an extremely stressful nightshift, although I think of smoking it sometimes, but more as a fleeing thought... it just passes...

When I was smoking, I was not sure if there was a me without it..What kind of identity will I be.. Me who was not sure if I ever will get there...

I could not imagine that there would never be a cigarette again. And here I am, so long into quitting.

Maybe just a tip to all the newbies. Take it minute after minute of not smoking, hour after hour, day after day... don't think too far.. it is scary... But eventually it is possible to look back...

Hi Andies - You're AMAZING! congratulations on your 480 days. How great is that. I know what you mean when you say you were not sure if there was a me without smoking. It's a weird feeling, trying to get your head around... the identity struggle. I think it just takes time to get back to the REAL you, because you actually were someone before smoking - it's a better you! Well done, thanks for posting.
