Yeah. So good to hear from fellow long time quitters. The road is bumpy but we have stuck to outperform guns and determination. We have laughed and cried as we read each other's posts. Red-67 is approaching 1 year soon. Dobbin Spurs me on because he has always been 100 days "behind" me. No wYwoyld he want me to falter. Besides, I am paving the way for him. Then there is WendyOhNo. She is still here after 533 days. We are so proud of each other. Mind you if any fell off the wagon we and others would be doing whatever we thought would bring our mate back into the quit mode.

As for Unbe, You asked about my monetary gains. My bank book says I definitely have $21 000 saved from the ashtray on just under 1000 days. How pathetic are we smokers. To clarify, once a smoker, always a smoker. No cutting down. Just STOP. Some amazing stories onthis site...

Hi Lia...it certainly has been a bumpy road with many a twists on a bendy path, was never a smooth transitions,

but it shows us our strong perseverance character.

We got over the hurdles of not smoking no more but its always with caution.

I still put away my budget for smokes every week, i have increased my spend per week to $140.00,

so you can imagine my nest egg...

Saving this $$$$$ has been a great insentive.

Hi Red-67. You should pay our prices and then you would have better than a Lotto win... Over a dollar per cigarette...
