5 Years without a smoke

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 7 Dec 2017

I gave up smoking on the 22nd of November 2012. I smoked for 37 years , I went in for surgery on my abdomen and realised to aid the healing I didnt want to be coughing my guts up every morning and every night.i have since changed my whole life , I walk at least 1 hour per day , I go to shows , I go to concerts , I go on holidays all over Australia and overseas .I dont cough my guts up every morning and night , I enjoy my food , I feel fabulous and I think I'll live to a ripe old age , I have now not spent $36,840.00 on cigarettes and thats at the 5 years ago price so its probably more like $50,000. Claim your life back and give up smoking today

Thanks for reporting on your success story. I am quit half the time you have. I look forward to feeling twice as good as I do now knowing I have beaten the stupid habit when I get to your milestone. Strange when one gives up the habit and cannot be bothered lighting up. Why did it take us so long to wake up. I have nearly $20 000 in my unders and overs tray.
