Today is my 12 months anniversary of Quitting come on you can do it

Today is my 12 months anniversary of quitting, if you're just starting or thinking about quitting if I can do it you can do it, even before I started my journey I always had this voice in my head talking me out of quitting, smoking is my friend and nahh nothing bad will happen too you and that's before I even started, I summoned up so much courage and the help of Champix, my husband, the Quitline and i quit website I'm able to stand before you and tell you my story of my 12 months anniversary of quitting and hopefully inspire other quitters or thinking of quitting people, you can do this, yeah it's hard at the very beginning , but if you really put your mind into it and you really really want to, as well as utilise every tool and resources that's available to you and in the very start of your journey post post post you're stories getting all of you're frustrations, anxiety , sadness , anger out really does help as talking to people who are going through and experiencing the same situation you're going through is integral to quitting and staying quit , I found the first few days we're the hardest, but Champix, Quitline, hubby and the icanquit website helped me through when my cravings were at there worst, using these tools as a distraction helped me through these very powerful cravings and here I am smoke free for 12 months, come on you can do it , I believe in you xoxo

Wow, thats incredible SillyT! Isn't it amazing to not have to be dependant on cigarettes? No more embarrassment, no more guilt in spending money on them, no more stinking or yellow finger tips, the positives definitely outnumber the negatives! I am at 6 months and can say that the cravings have eased up slightly over the past week for whatever reason. Do you still get cravings? When did you notice that they became easier?

I'm on my 3rd week now of being smoke free - can't wait until I'm where you are :)

Congratulations Silly T........Steve01 and I celebrate our first YEAR next month......hang in there Steve.......Cheers
