Slipped up

I slipped again after almost a year. I had to attend state exam and all of a sudden I found myself smoking again. I m really disappointed with myself because I am so weak but every time when it is to hard to push forward I turn to this site and find motivation and support. I hope I ll keep on track finding comfort in your stories of success and supporting others who are strong enough to make that huge step and be free from awful addiction.

Hi Lady K
I think the important thing here is that you're prepared to give it another go. As you'd know, it's not an easy ride and takes hard work but we can make it. I think one of the biggest triggers for most is stress. It's really the only time I crave now at nearly 3 months but those cravings can still at times come out of the blue to bite.
Good luck 😉

If you stayed quit for almost a year there is nothing weak about you. Give yourself credit, you are strong. You can do it, jump back on the quit smoking train. We can ride it like a bunch of non smoking hobos. :)

Keep at it...remember you can beat it, you've done it once, you can do it again! Stress is v hard to deal with, and it feels like having a cigarette helps but in fact it doesn't remove the stress.Jump back on that train as suggested by Mike1972...much more fun!
