Life is so relaxed
Hi guys , 1625 days ,$ 32000.00. It's nice to do each day being able to breath, able to go for a walk for an hour or two, come home and cook and eat a meal you can taste. 37 years controlled by cigarettes and thinking it was Ok . It's not Ok for you , No 1, it's not ok for your partner, it's not ok for your family and friends . It's not ok for anyone. I enjoyed every cigarette I smoked . I now enjoy every cigarette I don't smoke .I'm 57 on Sunday and now looking forward to a long and healthy life , cross fingers . My partner and I enjoy great food , going to shows , regular holidays and a relaxed life most of which has been paid for by not smoking . Enjoy the difference . Quit today!,

Hi coughcoughcough. I have vague memories of posts you put on this site. I echo your thoughts about smoking. I am up to 704 days. Strange how that money saved keeps building up in my bank account. Fancy tossing out $230 each week is a wake up call. As you have demonstrated there are better ways to truly enjoy all those $'s. Mind you, living longer ensures one can enjoy the $'s saved. Thanks for posting again as you are an inspiration and kind of a guiding light for anyone who wants to last night he distance.
Well done Lia, it is nice to jump on every now and again, read people's stories and chuck something up . If my little stories help a couple of people it would make me feel great . Any addiction is bad but smoking is tough to beat. The upside is it makes you a stronger independent person . Keep up the good work

Hi Cough,
Wow almost 5 years smoke free, that is amazing.
Could you tell us after all this time do you want to smoke from time to time?
Because i think that even after 5 years the mental craving is still there ready to catch you off guard.
Keep up the good work,
I suppose it is occasionally , but the fear of coughing my guts up every morning and night soon kicks in and I'm good again.
