Made it.... Hardest part over I think!

105 days or 3 and a half months quit today. The hardest part has been the last 4 weeks. I finished moving last Monday and have noticed the cravings have been easing since I finished. When the cravings were the strongest I kept telling myself that all I had to do was NOT SMOKE. It didn't matter if I accomplished anything else during that hour, day, week, month... as long as I didn't smoke. I believe this has been an important reason I have been able to stay quit for this long. From what I have read from others experiences the mental cravings will stay with me for around another 2 and a half months (when I reach 6 months).

I,m hearing you. I am 96 days free but the last few I've been thinking of smoking more then ever. I even had dreams of asking someone for a smoke?
The price is enough to keep me on track I just hope the craving goes away. Is there a magical 6 month mark

Excellent job there Not This time, it crazy how the thoughts pop up along the way. I think it was 5 months ( i have a terrible memory) when i had the last crazy- out of control- cravings that went for DAYS.. I was so mad, O mean - how dare it do that after so long smoke free... I believe it waits until we are pretty relaxed and then throws some thoughts, cravings, tempting ideas at us...
I am past that now and cruising along fine... It does eventually stop..
