So glad I have hung in there.

Well, here I am 1084 days without a smoke. My life has changed so much and I have enjoyed convincing others that there are many benefits getting off them. I feel it is important to keep rewarding yourself when you can, because I have saved over $27,000 since I gave up. Wow!!!!!! that is a lot of money ey! I have a brand new motorbike that I bought with the money I have saved, along with other things along the way. Next treat is to save for a caravan so I can take the family away for weekends. I hope my little story helps others get off the dreaded smokes, and even though my Mrs picked them up again (I am not nagging her about that) I know she will follow me one day and get off them for good :-)

Hi Brad. Thanks for sharing such a positive message for quitters. Like you I but myself the occasional gift ( My dream cherry red Gibson 335 guitar ). The reality that you finally have quit and when the cravings disappear are the greatest gifts though. Well done on your 3 years quit.

Hi Bradj62. So good to hear of the story of a long term quitter. Sometimes one feels lonely because there are no fellow "survivors". I am up to 635 days. You would think we are free from the addiction. We know we aren't. We enjoy the benefits. Never a day goes by when we recall how one puff can totally destroy the journey. Thanks for returning to this site to give hope to us who ride in your wake.
I'm hearing you buddy . 31,200 dollars saved from not smoking those horrible things . Keep enjoying life mate .
