5 months today!

So, today is 5 months! 153 days. It feels really freaking great. While i do still have slight smoking nostalgia (and maybe always will?) I definitely feel like the hard part is over. Though I have heard stories of people slipping up after 5 or 6 months, i'm really going to work to not go down that road!
I do feel like i've gained a bit of weight as a result of quitting and as i'm in the northeastern part of the u.s. there's a ton of snow and getting exercise is a bit of a challenge. So, that needs to be my next priority.
For everyone in their first month, i believe in you. you can do it. it gets easier.
xo

5 months Penelopen, what a great achievement,
The hard part is over BUT, stay very vigilant.
Just think of the hard yards you had to do to get to where you are now.
Stay focused n positive n extra determined and you will achieve.

Hi Penelopen, I hear you on the weight gain part, I am working mine off now after about 6& 1/2 months. We are all so different in the way we quit, I found the 5 month time (around then) the most difficult. Unlike others though, I have never coughed up any phlegm -maybe that's still coming!
Well done on the 5 months, it's such a HUGE achievement. Be proud..

Great Work Penelopen , keep it going .....We get stronger every day we dont smoke ......Day 90 today for me !!! We can do this !!! Congratulations !!
