3 month ago, I had my last cigarette. It feels years away!

Live is just so amazing without the smoke. First of all I saved over a 1500 AUS! Also, I am still going strong with going jogging and climbing.. Whereas before, I was lazy now I can't wait to get out and be in nature... It s just such an amazing chance of life..

My partner asked me recently if I am still thinking of having a smoke.. Well indeed I have- once in a while, I remember how relaxing it was to sit outside and have my puff- but then honestly, I also remember the hundert more times, when I did not enjoy it. When I just needed the cigarette and then rushed for other things to do.... so well.. urges yes, but right now, feeling strong of coping well... For all the once starting: Be aware that it gets so much easier after a while..

Well done Andies, 3 months is a goal I'm looking forward to reaching:) Like you, I also miss sitting outside puffing on a cig, but I also remember how many times I'd stub one out telling myself how disgusting and horrible it tasted. I knew how stupid I was to continue spending good money on such a dumb habit that had no positive effect on me whatsoever other than feeding my addiction. Coming up to 3 weeks now and I have no cough, no phlegm, no smelly clothes, bed or car. I walk more, I sleep well, I eat well (too many treats but that'll be under control soon), I drink alcohol way, way less, and generally feel heaps better about myself. There will be no going back for me.
