Day 268

Posted in Staying quit

schedule 8 Dec 2016

Hi all, it has been quite a while since I last checked in. I find it difficult to believe that I no longer smoke, and even more surprising that I no longer even have an urge to smoke. To all those starting this journey, believe in yourself and take one day at a time, it can be done, I smoked for about 47 years, 40 a day at the end, and probably for the first 100 days, smoking was all I thought about, but I also understood that I could never have even one puff of a cigarette or I would be smoking again. When we join this community we make a decision to stop smoking, so we are half way there the rest is mostly a mental fight we have with ourselves. We all use different methods and find our own path, but this forum is invaluable to our success. So wherever you are on your journey, I wish you well.
