Omg!
So to my surprise and utter horror my quit buddy from work has completely dived off the wagon! And I mean dived- like headfirst into the nicotine pit. She told me today she had been smoking over the weekend and is back at it full time.. Well bugger me dead I swear my jaw hit the ground so hard it nearly got gravel rash! I was near on speechless.. We quit together and I'm on day 116. I'm not sure how I feel? disappointed that she went back and still a little gobsmacked I suppose. It's not my journey that has been wrecked but I still feel sorry for her, the damn nicotine beat her.

Hi Cranky......yes you are right.....comes outa nowhere and prepares to "BIte".....happened to me at club as i said in my last story. On 127 days now......not going back. Cheers.
Hi Cranky. You wouldn't believe how many of those quitting with me some 540 something days ago have vanished. Some do no longer need to post frequently. Most have succumbed to the dreaded addiction. I just hope they come back and try again. Although my "quit buddies" are now few and far between I suppose I look forward to the day any one of them returns..

How disappointing for you but how terrible for your friend.... One day your buddy will want to quit again and then she will have to go through the withdrawals again!!! That alone keeps me grounded on this journey. But thank you for the reminder that this addiction will sneak up at anytime
