Day 53

Hi all, just checking in on day 53. A few days ago i had my first day of not even thinking to check my quitting app, that felt like a good milestone. Also, a drunk guy at a bar handed me a cigarette the other night, for no reason he insisted i take it, it was a funny test. I kept it my pocket all night but didnt smoke it, and the next morning i got rid of it. Staying strong.
Woke up this morning with a cold, bit of a drag but its my first cold since i quit- it used to take me weeks or even months to bounce back from colds because i would keep smoking. So i am actually excited to see if i recover faster now that i am smoke free.
Basically some days are quite hard still, i suppose it will always be that way, but ive come way too far to throw it away, i hope...this is probably like my 7th major quit attempt so i really want to make it stick. This site helps a lot when i have cravings, so thank you all and good luck maintaining your own quits!!!!!
