A NON SMOKER AFTER 37 YEARS !!!!!

I hope you are trying to quit now and that my story helps just one person :)
I gave up smoking on 15th October 2016, yes only two weeks ago however I can GUARANTEE that I will NEVER smoke again....
I had smoked an average of 30 to 40 a day for 37 years, yes I knew it was bad for my health, yes I knew the cost was horrendous and yes I was the only smoker in a sea of non smokers but did not care...
On the 11th Of September I had a heart attack, my main artery to my heart was 95% blocked and the heart surgeon is still shaking his head that I survived as I should be dead.
He immediately told me the smokes had to go and I just thought no way....
The cravings, the mood swings, the pain, the weight gain.....no thanks I had heard the horror stories and how addictive nicotine is blah blah blah and there was no way I was subjecting myself to that .....
A friend suggested hypnosis, she had been and had had NO symptoms and had no touched a smoke for two years.
I went and IT WORKED!!!!!!
Better still, no cravings, no moods, no weight gain and I still cant believe that I am a NON SMOKER ....yay!!!!!!
If anyone wants information I am happy to share it, if I had known it was this easy I would have given up YEARS AGO....
Smokers are being brainwashed with what the tabacco companies want them to hear!!!!!

Hi SusieQ, congrats on your 2 weeks and congrats for taking the first HUGE step. My sister had hypnotherapy and it worked for her too - I chose patches. Whatever it takes each of us to be rid of the filthy addiction is a good thing :o)
Keep posting!!!

Thank you so much for the support Crasher :)
I still am in awe of myself that I have done this and know that if I can anyone can, it's as much about self belief as it is willpower X
