Where the bl...y h..ll are you???

Just wondering if there are any success stories from those who have not visited recently. Where the fox hat are you? The likes of me do not want to know you have regressed. But if that is the case, a bit of honesty and a reality check won't go astray. What's more, we will do whatever to takes to get you back on track...

Hi Lia. Wake up the troops. Totally agree with you. check in with those success stories and come back those who have regressed and have another go. The rewards of quitting are exceptionally high and the pain is relatively short lived.
Hi Lia and Dobbin
I was off them for 3 months and fell by the wayside!! Started smoking again unfortunately, however I wasn't smoking like I had previously I was smoking between 5-10 per day. Anyway I went to see a Consultant for a cough I had that wouldn't go away and turns out I've COPD!! I turned 50 in July past!! I'm off them again now as its no longer a choice but a necessity!! I feel useless and I feel I let myself down big time by relapsing guys ðŸ˜

Hi Siobhain-Marie You have let no one down as we all know how Bl***y hard it is to give up. I ended up with angina and three stents and still carried on for a while : The key is to stop bull******** ourselves and getting real to the dangers . Our families get so frustrated with us : Thanks for your honesty and welcome back : Keep posting

Hi all, I still visit this site, just to remember what it was like, but never post. However you've asked for a success story... I too tried to give up many times in my life and failed for various reasons (excuses). I quit 1630 days ago now, and was like many of you that thought I couldn't go on as a smoke free person. But you know what, I took one day at a time, and said just get through today and then I said it the next day and the next day and the next day. It was hard, but eventually it got easier and I am now so proud of my self to be a non smoker. Just know it's achievable. It's one day, one week, one month, one year at a time. Good luck to you all. Don't let the little nicotine monster inside you win!!

Hi all I'm still tracking along doing well I check every morning to see how everyone is doing think I'm on day 126 today had a few of the biggest craves in the last couple of weeks not really craves just strong thoughts of smoking but with nearly 3 grand saved there's no way I'm letting that nicodemon in he keeps a knocking but he can't come in

Hi quit4eva , you are the type of inspiration we need on this site. Congratulations, what an effort 1630 days without smoking. You are definitely a non-smoker. Just goes to show what you can do if you really knuckle down to it. Please post often and tell us all of your experiences. Cheers.
