"Sheer Belief"

Hi everyone, checking in once more. Will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Rather a very stressful week if i can put it that way. Car broke down 15ks from my home, needed towing. Then to top it off a family member needed to be hospitalised. However not serious thank goodness. The point is when you are subjected to this type of consistent stress it really puts the test on you when you have been a smoker. However, you must refrain from backing down and say to yourself "how is putting tar into me going to help" No, you just have to put a sweet in your mouth and think rationally the best way to handle the situation. So remember, do not give in to the bugger because it will not help you but rather make you worse. Hope this has been of help. Cheers.

Well done Johnnie. The stress will still be there whether you smoke or not but not caving in at the first stress test is a great feeling. Keep it up

Thanks Iwillbeatit...........your comment is a great inspiration consideing the length of time you have been "quit".

Hang in there, Johnnie. Problems and stress are a part of life. Nicotine will never alleviate the problem. The day you have no problems is when you are no longer alive. Better to be alive and work out how to address problems. You already know this.
