4 years smoke free - feeling great
Hi I haven't ben on on here for 3 years and just thought I'd check in to see how much I have saved from not smoking in 4 years. Over $15,000!! Just wanted to let anyone that is struggling with their quitting that it does get easier and as you get further away from your last cigarette how proud of yourself you become and how free you feel when you are not chained to your packet of smokes anymore. Stay strong, forgive yourself any slip ups and every day remind yourself of why you are quitting.

Hi Karen43. Always good to hear from someone so far along the road to success. Thanks for returning to inspire others. When I achieve 4 years abstaining, I will have saved over $32 000 from the ashtray... After a while maybe we appreciate the ability to breathe more easily, but further down the track, just knowing how many hard earned dollars that have been saved is an extra incentive.
Hi Karen43. Your an " old timer " in the best sense of the expression. Thanks for popping back to let us know you haven't gone insane. Sounds like a win win and to have saved that amount is incredible. I worked out that I spent approximately £160000 in 53 years of smoking. Oh well no sense in dwelling in the past. Upwards and onwards.
