still smoke free

62 days later and my whole body has gone holy crap my tastebuds are still yuk but I'm told it will all settle down I hope so but having said that I'm thrilled that I'm drug free now and reaping the rewards and feeling so much calmer than before who knew hey

Hi Willson. It will get better but your body and mind need to adjust to the fact that it ain't gonna get anymore nicotine. Treat it like a spoilt child and eventually the protests will stop. The fact is you have won and stopped the process and adjustments need to be made.
The cravings turn into thoughts which can be as long as you want them to be.
Good luck and keep posting.

You are right there Dobbin. I treat my cravings with thoughts of disgust as to my health. They soon get the message and not try again for a longer time. All the best to you and rveryone.

Hi Wilson, OK, so it's tough. We know how you feel. Bottom line, how far are you willing to go with cigarettes before you truly give them the flick. Don't let them give you the flick... Did your body or brain go beserk when you first inflicted nicotine on your system? Well, abstaining isn't going to be easy but is possible. Me, 445 days smoke free. Early days were not easy. You just have to be as determined to quit as you were first when you decided to be a smoker... Do come along for the long ride...

lots of changes going on in the body I can tell you about it if you want LOL they told me it gets better so I will use my stubborn addict personality to stay smoke free to see if they were right :)
