replacement

Hey everyone.
Ot is 14 days that I have been smoke free but I have noticed that I have replaced coffee for cogarettes. I am drinking coffee 3 times more than what I was deinking 2 weeks ago. I don't know if it is good or bad. how do you think friends??? do you think there will come a day that I'll have to quit coffee and replace it with something else??

we are human we will always have something to deal with that's not perfect, we are not meant to be perfect its all part of the human experience :)
so coffee smokes?? what's worse?? the time will come when you will want to look at the coffee use.
you are aware of the coffee issue so you will deal with it when the time is right, that's how this works :)
in the mean time don't beat yourself up and remember you haven't had a smoke today and I think they are a bit worse than coffee so your on the right track :)

Congratulations , if you're concerned about increase of caffeine try using decaf coffee, In between real coffee or mix and have a 50/50 brew , but you're using coffee as a coping mechanism, I really wouldn't worry too much unless it's keeping you awake, and by summer you'll probably move away from something that warms you up and you'll also be out and about not hibernating and trying to keep warm during this cold snap were experiencing at the moment, I hope that i made some sense, stay strong sweet heart we have done it, muwwwa ππΎπ

I know about the coffee problem. The caffeine is a stimulant and I like the rush (just like rush from nicotine) but unfortunately for me I found out recently that I have to quit coffee too. I almost blew my head off the other day with 6-7 cups of coffee in the morning. For some reason I never do anything in half measures - maybe thats a problem some addicts have. I am an addict and I want to be addicted to good things so its ok to have a healthy addiction. What do you think?

not sure there are healthy addictions the thing may not be bad like coffee its our relationship with coffee for instance, I guess what's the definition of addiction?
something that we are in a relationship with that has life changing "bad" consequences.
like the computer its not a bad thing but my relationship with it can become destructive, for example not spending time with my kids because I am on the computer or the wife saying you spend more time with that thing than me..
get where I am going?? :)
even exercise can become destructive I probably wont get that addiction but I am working on it :)
