Quitting Nicotene

Posted in Staying quit
schedule 7 May 2016

After more than 2 months (66 days) I can literally sense some kind of change is going on chemically in my body. Yesterday I had an incredibly vivid dream and found out later on that its not unheard of in people who have quit smoking to find their chemicals are all up and down for a while and that the change in chemicals is giving them vivid dreams.

So, I'm going to turn off my computer now and go outside, go for the long long walk one step at a time! I've put on a bit of weight but I am not going to freak out. Instead, I'm going to go for a long walk today and enjoy doing it. I'm gonna keep moving my legs instead of moving my arms to lift a ciggy to my lips.

With all the $s I have saved there are a few things I can afford to do to deal with the extra weight. I can afford to buy a larger size that will actually fit. I can afford a gym membership. If that fails, I can afford to pay someone to work out for me... Hmmm, maybe not. After 334 days smoke free I am sure I can work on the extra kilos in good time...
