Keep busy

I am now at 22 days. Last week I had 2 days when I was very tempted. I then decided to do a spring clean and so kept busy. I do have a very dry mouth, any tips out there for me? I bought a packet of sugar free lollies but I forget to have them as I am not a sweet eating person. I have put on a couple of kilo but I don't care as long as I don't smoke. I will lose the weight at some stage. I do thank the people who responded to my first story, their words helped me a lot.

Hi Sagittarius, try sugar free chewing gum, and push yourself to drink plenty of water, I know at this time of year I tend to forget to drink, but they say we need 8 glasses a day.
I am 70 days smoke free and I still think about smoking every day, but it is easier to handle.
Take one day at a time and keep posting

Hi Sagittarius, good work quitting. Not sure what to do about a dry mouth. I would have thought that your mouth would be less dry now that you don't smoke.
Kiss somebody, perhaps? After all, you are now so much more kissable!

Hello and well done on your quitting. I found Champix caused the dry mouth for me.... I use sugarless chewing gum and drink plenty of water. 12 days smoke free so far.

yep sugar free gum, comes everywhere with me :)
keep at it and your doing great 22 days very well done.
hope to hear more in the future as the days clock up.

I'm with these guys, sugar free gum is great. I always have some in the car as that's where I normally smoke. Coconut water is very rehydrating and tasty or a green tea with either lemon or jasmine.
