I'm 34 years old and have had enough of smoking. I've been smoking since I was 17 and smoked about 15 - 20 a day. Recently I decided enough is enough.

Today I have completed day 4 of being totally smoke free cold turkey. It's not an easy road but I am coping okay.

I've woken up in night sweats the last 2 nights but I guess that's my body getting rid of the bad stuff and part of the process.

No alcohol for me for a while as I don't trust myself enough yet.

I have enjoyed reading other people's contributions. They are inspiring!

well done, yeah my body is still resetting 51 days latter its not much fun but its getting better, we have been through a major trauma ! Q10 may help.

Good Luck. The best is to say never put one of those ugly things in your mouth and light it again. The addiction is horrible. Cold turkey is best. Just get rid of it. My best.

Day 4 is amazing. It's a really great thing you're doing, plus the not drinking thing is a good thing too, . All power to you.

keep it up. you will experience some ups and downs but don't listen to your mind/body which is going to be renewed each day you get further away from nicotine and learn about its deception. Eventually you'll start feeling great and start liking it.
