Quitting with champix

Am currently into week 2 of pack 2 of champix.
Did not officially quit smoking until 4 weeks of taking champix so have not had a smoke in 12 days..
Champix has been amazing for me so far!! Have not had any side affects whatsoever except for being moody in week 2 and abit of nausea in weeks 2 & 3, I have been fine ever since and have not had any crazy or bad dreams at all! I have tried to quit cold turkey in the past, also tried patches & gum etc & absolutely nothing has worked! Altho.... now I am on day 12 of no smoking for some reason I am struggling today & I don't know why :-/
All of yesterday afternoon and all of today I have done nothing but think about a smoke & craved one alot.. like I said I'm unsure why considering I have just gone 11 wonderful days without barely a craving or a thought of smoking whatsoever but now this is happening. I have not done anything differently today such as changed my routine so that can't have anything to do with it.
Still trying to stay strong tho and not giving in.. just feeling uncomfortable & would love a smoke but I have come this far so I'm not about to give in now! :-)

the mind is a wondrous thing, but as long as we know the truth about smoking its pretty hard to have one, but one thought at time and I just say I don't smoke and well there's no ley way there for an excuse.
for me to have a smoke today is to believe the lie my mind is telling me, its not the cigarette, its my mind and well sometimes an addicts mind is not the place to find truth , so I drop in here for a check up from the neck up.
and yep smoking still sux.

Hang in there, I am nearly 39 days smoke free and still have some days when all I do is think about having a smoke, but it is not really a craving just a urge or memory, for the first couple of weeks I also used NRT lozenges may be only once or twice a day but it took the urge away. Find what works for you and hang in it does get better
