2 years

well officially today am 2 years away from smoking thank GOD
i just remember the first hour how i used to think ,really i will not smoke again ,NO cigarette after the beach ,no one while am listening to my favorite songs on the cafe or while am driving late at night
Really after finishing every workout theses days and be able to breathe without coughing or feeling worried if my smell will trouble my children or feeling worried if they witness me smoking
am really appreciating this GIFT no more smoke-I can smell morning breeze-am not feeling chocked
for all my friends around here really this GIFT worth a fortune don't think about slipping, don't think about headaches or any of this really this step for quitting you will feel it when you are free from this slavery

well done and thanks for sharing, good motivation isn't it having a new way of life that isn't dictated too by a little fire stick, I am starting to enjoy the journey and see the changes some good some not so good but like everything in life its a work in progress.

Yes, always temember the first hour and the first 24 hours. How hard was that. Now 313 days cold turkey I am often reminded by the graduates of this site that the craving is always alive and well. Enjoy the power you have regained by not smoking.

Congratulations. That's excellent. You motivate us all to hang in there.

Came on here to whine about coughing and saw this instead. You are an inspiration. I am going to do it, one day at a time, and hope to post something similar one day. Thanks for sharing.
