not to have just only one ciggy ,even one puff .

I previously remain smoke free for 5 days. but on 6th day after taking some alcohol, with one of my smoker friend I smoked one cigarette , I thought It would be last one. But what happened was different. that single ciggy forced me to smoke another ciggy , thus that evening I smoked total 5 ciggy. the next day I again smoked 4 ciggy, thus again I regulerly smoked 5 to 10 cigarettes,. after 17 days I managed to quit again. on 2nd feb 2016. and from that good day I am still free of smoke,. I learn from this site , and also experienced that we have to resist only one cigarette when we are feeling urging , then the urging passes off, after that another urging definitely comes, in this time also we have to resist only this one, thus we can be smoke free. air puffing or false smoking( see my previous story) helps me . a 30 min walk and drinking water also very helpful. best wishes to all. I am thankful to all fellow quitters and this loving site. oh yes alcohol or beer is very dangerous for quitters. it invites violent temptations to smoke. at least I dare not to drink alcohol for a long time because this time I dont want to fail.

thank you cath 57, I run if needed. thanks jenno all of you who made me smoke free.
