Ive got 2 weeks to go on Champix, I am so looking forward to stopping them. I know I have been pretty lucky w the side effects but I'm on enough meds post the heart attack! I'm not at all concerned about starting smoking again at any point, I know its simply not an option and I am so greatfull to not be ruled by smoking anymore. Sure there has been times when I have thought about it but thats been all, just a thought. I guess thats the benefit of Champix. I also had to start an antidepressant, think I was having a bit of PTSD after the heart attack, so I'm hoping by the time I stop the Champix the AD's will have kicked in, it will be nearly 4 months since the heart attack and I will have some motivation back, not be so tired and get a routine happening. Having to deal with quitting, my health, trying to exercise, eat healthy and lose weight has been tough but I know that the meds are helping hugely as well as the iCanQuit community.Thankyou

Wow, you do have a lot on your plate. Lucky you don't smoke as well else you wouldn't have time for the remainder. I've gone cold turkey, and it seems to be working ok. Two months is great, you must be able to breathe alot easier? Nice not to be a slave to the nicotine ☺

Well done for going cold turkey, thats got to be tough!! I think I'm not as short of breath, definitely have almost completely lost the cough. I think my taste is changing a bit too.
