Needing to be at your absolute strongest due to other peoples stupidity

I have avoid all the temptations and cravings to smoke but today is the 1st day I have sat down and truly said to myself "I need a smoke!" due to colleagues at work making stupid costly decisions. Maybe I should reassess my professional life as I'm not giving in to smoking - Feeling frustrated

Hi friend I too am changing my career path, due to my position being very stressful, first and most foremost believe in your decision not to smoke. Our lives will always have some stress but what I am learning is how to deal with stress in a different way. Was thinking the old posties jobs would have been a good choice for giving up smoking, walk water and wave.

Hi Cath, after speaking to a friend and putting things into perspective. This was my first incident dealing with stress without going outside for a smoke to calm the nerves and after thinking about it - yes I had a massive vent but I am still smoke-free :0)

Well done, stress brings about anxiety and we know smoking will increase our stress, a good mantra to say out loud, shared to me from here.
