a feeling of unwellness? is this normal?

I find that i am getting frustrated and angry at the drop of a hat. I do not want to be like this towards my family. Help!

hello Johnboy,
How many days is it since you have had a smoke or are you still doing a suppliment plus still smoking?
Yes your mood swings are natural as your body is going through so many changes, when
you were smoking did you find a smoke calmed you down? When things weren't going
well? Did you reach for a smoke?....I used smokes as a great stress reliever, I used
smokes as many things to help me get through everyday events in my life, but this has all
changed now.
Your body is out of its comfort zone
When I find myself getting in a cranky mood...if im not working....I go for a walk...do
yardwork...do anything to take your mind off the mood....get a punching bag to sweat your
frustrations out,
Hope your loved ones around you are supporting you on your journey and understand that yes you are going through a rough time, cause giving up smoking is not easy.
But hang in there.

Hi johnboy, suggest you spend some time on this site reading past posts and that way you may be able to relate to a story that best matches your own... Wish you well. There is no one size fits all, nor is there a manual for quitters. You need to read something that makes sense to you. Then start the hard yards...

You are in withdrawals, its nasty keep busy walk run if you can, just beat the demon away.

Hey jenno, lia , cath57 , and NO4me- thankyou for your inspiration and encouragement ; i really appreciate all of the support on this website from you all. 19 days today. I haven't had a ciggy. i am not on patches or other 'aids'. Why is it called cold turkey anyway? ! i like cold turkey and salad rolls. A cold turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce is yum! Theres a bit of homework for someone!
